Crochet For Others is a youth engagement program that invites youth of all backgrounds to use their art and creativity skills to give back to marginalized communities.

The program consists of four training sessions where youth will learn how to crochet and engage with community service in a different capacity. After completing the training, participants of the program will then have the opportunity to lead a series of crochet workshops at Rose Haven, a local shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. This will provide a unique opportunity for the youth to engage in meaningful service work while also sharing their newly acquired skills with the guests at Rose Haven. At the end of the workshops, there will be a market for guests to sell their creations, which not only empowers them with valuable skills but also helps to support their livelihoods.
