Annie Duan

(she/her/hers)

Annie Duan is a queer, first-generation Asian American. She founded CrochetForChnge, a nonprofit that engages youth with marginalized groups in different, artistic capacities. Lily Wang

Director of Content Creation and Design

(she/her/hers)

Lily Wang is currently a sophomore at Catlin Gabel School. She began crocheting back in March 2021 in hopes of finding a new quarantine hobby and it has been a defining feature in her life ever since. Recently, Lily started a crochet club at Catlin Gabel with the intention of creating crochet blankets to donate towards a greater cause. Along with crocheting, Lily is interested in working towards solutions against issues presented in the world. She is super excited to be a part of the Crochet for Chnge team and combine both of her interests into one project – using art in the form of crochet as a platform against injustice.

Lucy Robb

Marketing and Outreach Coordinator

(she/her/hers)

Lucy Robb is currently a sophomore at Jesuit and is very excited to be joining the CrochetforChnge team! Climate justice, houselessness, and women’s rights are all issues that are very important to her. Through social justice work, advocacy, and more, she hopes to spur positive change in her community and beyond. In her free time, she enjoys working out, writing, and spending time with friends.

Our Commitment to DEI

We here at Crochet for Chnge are dedicated  to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and opening a way to take actions against injustice. We strive to ensure that all participating in our program and receiving our creations are given the resources and respect they deserve. We go beyond words; our actions will continuously go to the betterment of our community. We hope to promote collaboration and creativity in all that we do. We are proud to serve and listen to the needs of our community and the larger vision of social justice and diversity.
